6 Reasons to Love Canada

Some countries shout from the rooftops about how good they are. Other countries do things a little more understated. This is the case with Canada, a country that often seems to be in the shadow of the country directly south of it. But it can reasonably make a case for being one of the best countries in the world. After all, there’s a lot to love about this country. In this blog, we’ll run through just six reasons why so many people love visiting — and moving to — the Great White North.

It’s Fresh

In this day and age, it’s a privilege to be able to breathe deeply and inhale fresh, clean air. There are plenty of places that have dangerous levels of air quality — indeed, if you’re planning to move to London or New York, it’ll be something that you just have to contend with. But not so in Canada. This is a sparsely populated country with a lot of pristine outdoor areas, meaning the air is among the freshest in the world. Step into the mountains on a crisp spring day, and you’ll learn just what we mean.

It’s Outstandingly Beautiful

And talking of stepping into the mountains: you’ll be spoilt for choice in Canada. Nature in Canada is among the best in the world, and there’s also a lot of it. You’ll find great landscapes all across the country, but for the best of the best, it’s best to head to Alberta. There you’ll find Banff National Park, which is just a whole other level of beauty compared to what you’ll find in other countries. But no matter where you travel to, you won’t be too far from a landscape that makes your heart sing.

The People Are Friendly

Saying the people are friendly might be an understatement; Canadians can be extremely friendly. Indeed, the friendliness of the population is one of the main reasons why people consider working with a Canadian immigration consulting company. They know that if they move there, they’ll receive a warm welcome. Not that you need to move to Canada to experience the awesomeness of the people. You’ll have the same experience even if you just spend a couple of weeks there. It’s one of those places where people are more than happy to be asked for directions. A friendly bunch, for sure!

Adventure Time

There’s a lot to love about spending some time in Canada, including the fact that it offers so much by way of adventure and good times! We mentioned earlier how Canada is a beautiful place filled with extensive scenery. These places aren’t just there to be admired from afar; they’re supposed to be enjoyed up close and personal through adventure activities. If you’re a skier, climber, mountain biker, or hiker, then you’ll love Canada. You could spend years enjoying these activities and still never get bored. It’s probably best to visit Vancouver if you like these types of activities since they offer a bit of everything — Whistler, a world-class skiing destination, is just slightly north of the city, while North Vancouver offers exceptional mountain biking

Comfort Food

For some reason, people don’t tend to talk about the food in Canada. But they should, because it’s absolutely delicious. If there’s one way to describe it, it would be “comfort food.” Who wouldn’t love starting the day with a stack of pancakes topped with maple syrup? And then there’s the matter of poutine, a dish that is perfect for warming your bones on a chilly day. Also: Tim Hortons. In terms of drive-thru coffee places, there’s probably no better option on the planet.

It’s Diverse

Finally, there’s the sheer size and diversity of Canada. It’s a huge place that has a bit of everything. The eastern part of the country is vastly different from the western part. You’ll find lakes, great plains, mountains, forests, and a diverse range of cities. It would be impossible to compare Montreal to Toronto, for instance — they’re just so different. When you take a trip to Canada, you can expect to have a whole host of different experiences, and that makes it extremely exciting.

Conclusion

And there we have it! There are plenty of other things that we could have mentioned about Canada, but this will do for now. If you’re looking to visit or move to a place that seems to offer a little bit of everything, then you could do far worse than Canada. It is quite simply one of the best places on earth.
