On this episode of the podcast, we’re off to Pamplona for San Fermin, or Running of the Bulls! We booked this event before we even had flights to Europe, so we were SUPER excited to get there. After struggling with the language barrier (these were pre-Español days), we set out to get our matching outfits and attend some of the many events that take place during the festival. Over the course of 3 days, we ate a lot of kebab, stayed up all night drinking cheap sangria, partying in the streets of Pamplona, and making new friends… and of course, we watched the bulls run. As it turns out, this morning event is really the end of the night, and it is definitely worth the trip to Pamplona to see. Each morning, we were shocked all over again by the crazy, chaos that is San Fermin. Join us as we discuss our experiences watching both the Running of the Bulls and a bull fight, as well as discuss the concept of masculinity, killing animals for enjoyment, our opinions on cultural events, and the overwhelmingness of culture shock.
